Who’s it For?

Anyone, any collective or group. Especially:

• Associations, chambers of commerce, trade associations, any ‘leadership’ group for an interest, small clubs, churches, any interest group that wants to organize events
• Any interest or location based community e.g. Bouldering in Colorado, Dungeons & Dragons in Germany, Anything in Grézels, France
• Organizers that want a simple, single tool to publish and organize their events

It is really good if you organize a group and are frustrated trying to add events to Facebook, co-ordinate WhatsApp groups, or develop a WordPress site.

It can also be used by anyone who simply wants to support and grow their interest, location or community - you can create any Orgs and Events; they do not need to be your own (but check it isn’t already there first!).

Getting Started - 5 simple steps

1. Create your own personal account:

This is what you use to sign in.

2. Create your Org

This represents your organized activities, don’t worry if it isn’t formal; it is the way to collect everything together and use all the org-related features.

• Remember to add an interesting image to catch people’s eye, and add a logo image as this is used in places with little space.
• Add one or more interests - these will be used as defaults when you create events; also add Org type for each Interest, these are used in search.
• Check ‘Searchability’ and add your location so people will see it in search results (all places are located in other places, and finally ‘Anywhere’, so using ‘Zurich’ will mean your Org will show up in Zurich, Greater Zurich, and Switzerland.
• If you have a team, create roles and invite people (perhaps do this later once you have got used to Plug).
